We invite you to come stay in our guest home and experience the beauty of the Palouse all times of year. Enjoy exemplary home cooking, using produce from our garden and orchard when in season. 

We left behind the Seattle urban life in the late 1980s and found a turn of the century farmhouse plus an array of outbuildings on 8 acres in the small town of Uniontown.  Uniontown is located among the rolling hills of the Palouse in southeastern Washington, 16 miles southeast of Pullman, home of Washington State University, 16 miles southwest of Moscow, Idaho, home of the University of Idaho, 16 miles northwest of Lewiston, Idaho/Clarkston, Washington valley and 90 miles south of Spokane, Washington.

Experienced in the restoration of historic buildings, we transformed the original bunkhouse into a guest house and added a wing to the main house that includes a guest room and an indoor lap pool.

A few years later we began raising alpacas whose luxurious fleece once clothed Inca royalty, and retired from the alpaca business 18 years later because of health challenges. We had 43 alpacas on the farm at our high point and ran a busy full-time breeding business. We had an excellent reputation nationally for our quality breeding stock.

Now free from alpaca chores, Leslee is enjoying spending more time at her job managing Artisans at the Dahmen Barn, a unique, must-see local attraction.  You can find more information about the artisan barn at www.artisanbarn.org.  We have teamed up with an excellent weaver from Moscow, Idaho, and at the Barn sell her scarves and shawls in addition to yarn, socks and blankets that include fiber from our alpacas.
